Nevada Northern 93, 2-8-0 (ALCO / Schenectady 44604 / 1909)
Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad (D&S) have advertised a „Winter Photographers‘ Special“ event for February 22 & 23, 2025.
On these dates, D&S 482 will power a short train consisting of Flanger OF and D&S caboose 0540 north out of Silverton, Colorado. Most participants will ride a „chase train“ which will be powered by D&S ALCO diesel DL535.
A night photo session hosted by Pete Lerro will be conducted on the evening of Saturday, February 22, 2025.
